Xcr m price

Niiiiiiice!

Did anything require replacing over its use?

Yes, targets. :)

I've had a couple breakdowns.
- op-rod cracked early on, at 4,500 rounds best I can recall.
- firing pin spring broke somewhere around same. 1/2 of an end coil.
- hammer spring broke after a vigorous workout of bump-firing. ~8,000 rounds in.

Not justifying the breakdowns, but the gun still functioned throughout. The hammer spring would fire commercial ammo, but only 50% of surplus.

Fwiw, I write everything down. When I buy ammo, I log it. Something breaks, I log it.
When I want to know exact round count, I subtract on hand, from bought.

If she makes it to 20,000, I'll do another review. Fingers crossed ;).

That doesn't sound too unreasonable. I recently replaced my trigger spring at about 4000 rounds. But the first 2400 were with corrosive ammo. After that, I converted and went to 223. I wonder if the corrosive powders reduced the springs life? It certainly looked like it did when I replaced.

I think it'll make it to 20,000.

Ya it's an older version with a hb so I think 3k is a bit steep maybe for a newer keymod style one. I think the older ones are going to take quite a kick with the newer gens being lighter and more desirable.

Personally I don't add sales tax to the value to the rifle. That's a condition of buying new. I also don't put more than 25-50% value in "upgrades" because it's so personal and usually done because the owner wanted to.

I sold my beautiful XCR-M about 2 years ago with a nice scope, bipod and a few PMAGS for a bit more what you're looking to spend. I posted it, went for a 45 minute walk, and came back to 8 offers to purchase. Screaming deal for the buyer, and I was happy to pay for my move in cash. So those deals DO happen, but they happen very quickly. It was a Gen 2 with folding stock but not keymod.

Pay what you think it's worth. The "market" value is irrelevant as long as you are happy. I think a 40% price drop is a little unrealistic unless it's in super rough shape

The dollar has dropped that much. lol

Before the drop, a 4-16 FFP EBR 1 MRAD was 900 CDN I bet it's way over that now.
Before the drop a XCR-L was around 2400 CDN and now 3K, about the same for a XCR-M

I sold my XCR-M for around 2500 as it was a partial trade so we worked it out to around that and that was with only a vortex sparc or whatever the bigger ones are called and 3 mags it was in fantastic shape the latest version before the keymod

its funny how people think the keymods are more desirable but everyone prefers the 581 series mini14's cuz they don't have the pencil barrel haha I guess the grass is always greener!!

I "was" going to say that's a great deal.....until I read OP's latest post stating it is in fact an older gen/pre-keymod version......now it's just a fair deal IMHO?
New XCR-M @ Wolverine is $3300
New Viper PTS 6-24x50.....$1500ish?
Rings and other assorted goodies/accessories....easily $5000+ retail for the package.

3k is a reasonable price...
I sold this one for $4900.00 as seen in the pic, minus the SF light and pad...
