XCR optic choices (Aimpoint)...????

I'm torn which to choose for my XCR...

Aimpoint:
CompM4s (with 3XMag); or Micro T-1 (with 3XMag)!?

Pros/cons...

Micro T-1:
I like the size of the T-1, but don't like the 4 MOA dot. Battery life is rated at +5 years continuous on.

CompM4s:
A bit bigger, but has the 2 MOA dot. Battery life is ~9 years constant on.

Battery life is really quite negligible between the two given the amount of years you could leave them both on for. Not a deciding factor.

I'll primarily be using it for close ranges (no further than ~400 yds MAX).

I really like my Comp M4, but I am sure the other one is quite a bit cheaper. I have never used the T1 or 3xmag.

What mounts are you using (or would you recommend) for the CompM4s w/ 3XMag?

They only have a couple of items on their site, but not the ones I need. I'm looking for the Tactical QD Mount (for M4s) and Tactical QD Pivot Mount (for 3XMag).

I really like the AP Micro optics. I have the 2moa dot and its really nice, still fast and doesn't wash out in the sunlight. The best part of the micro is the weight and size, personally my theory of optics is: less is more. That said I have a few full size aimpoints and they all make me happy.
