XCR or Sig

Your sarcasm aside the thing you didn't realize is the Swiss rifles are regarded very highly around here. We are more than lucky to have them on the Canadian market. Just down south these rifles can't be legally imported and those that are in circulation run $10,000+.

Visit an American gun board and tell them you'd rather have an American built AR15 over a $3000 Swiss Arms rifle and they'd think you were crazy.

If you ever get the chance to try one I recommend you do. They are quality built rifles. Very accurate, very nice trigger pull and very solidly built.

I think that would be a good idea! I am being sarcastic but thats just because I expected a little more support for the American stuff and everyone seemed to jump all over me! I like Vettes over Porsches for no good reason other than the fact that I like an American V8..I guess last time I checked people were entitled to an opinion without being called an idiot. But I started it by calling the Swiss pussies.....so maybe I need to shoot one (the rifle not a swiss guy) and judge it then just like I need to drive a porsche (wearing a disguise of course) and judge it then!

I respect being put in place (you bastards!);)

No one's calling BMW's junk from that "pussy" European country. ;)

I have driven a BMW;) and I can assure you they are indeed for less than masculine types (i.e. soccer moms, rosedale liberals, people who eat fondue)

But is is true an AR is alot cheaper than the Swiss Arms, although the Swiss Arms is non-restricted. I couldnt afford one even if I wanted it, I need my money to support my addictions (prostitutes, smoking, drugs, alcohol, pay-per-view Jerry Springer specials).

Anyhow I am tired of joking around about this I will leave you guys alone now....

I own a BMW and am not a soccer mom, a liberal or eat fondue. Are you really old enough to drive legally?

This is becoming a three ring circus...
Let's just say ARs are great and Sigs are great. I WOULD like to say XCRs are great, but that would be like UFO sighting, so I can't say...
AR15meister, part of the problem here, I think, is that you came out shouting your opinion little too loud, where this thread has gone on long enought to appreciate more facts than conjecture, or comments based on opinions. Nobody is saying you can't say what you feel like. Last time I checked, this was still a free country.

Back to the topic... I vote both for sure, why limit yourself. Having said that, I bought the Sig. I'll get an XCR whenever they are available. But I also imagine I'll buy every cool new gun that comes along so my opinion is not worth a lot.

^ no disrespect ARmeister as I love the AR platform as much as it can be...BUT in my limited knowledge the true M4 isn't a gun you or I can have. Please correct me if I am wrong as this site has 'learned' me more in the last year about firearms than 30+ years of shooting has...again not a 'poke' just wondering. I'll keep my PE90 until I can take the AR into the field again tks..........

PS: Had a few Beemers...The last was a drop top 330 CI. My best friend has an M3 and his pappy has rolled in M5's since they came out...opinions are personal i guess but saying this brand of car is for soccer mommy's (yum:) ) is myopic and plain 'ol silly. Anyhoo..I roll in an Audi S4 now...The dog fits better in it. Still looking for an OEM gunrack for her...Any leads...lol:p

If RobArm was bigger company, would they have had experience this much delay with their XCR? Does other firearms manufacturers experience as long a delay as well? I am waiting all patiently here for the grand entrance, but the anticipation does drag on.....

when is the XCR ever going to be available to buy in canada? Guys are running around with p90's and crazy new guns, but the lonely XCR is 2 years and waiting.... As for BMW's vs american cars....i wanna see a race...

Give it up the XCR is a fantasy, why even discuss it anymore? Until (if) it’s produced it seems pointless to compare it to rifles you can actually own and use????? :runaway:
