Difference being that it has about half the energy compared to stuff like the 30.06 or 300 win mag or 308 etc. Don't know how much that matters personally, I don't hunt.

im torn! I like my fast stock but there are so many better AR stocks out there. how is the height? they do look lower than the fast stock.

Cheek weld with AR height sights (1.5") is a touch low for me. Still a cheek weld and by no means worth fussing over. Length is the only issue. I have my stock fully collapsed for 12.75" LOP. Factionrr must be a tall guy like you Zeuce, with his CTR on the first or second position its probably around 14" LOP. Personally I didn't like the FAST stock. I sold it to factionrr hehe. The comb is too narrow and I hate sloped combs. Repeatable cheek welds were difficult. Its a quality stock but lacking in areas I consider important. The Dlask adapter looks the best but cheek height is very low. I like the NEA adapter the best and the one that came on this rifle almost matches the XCR's finish. Not sure if newer adapters do or not, NEA likes their doesn't-match-a-damn-thing anodizing.

I really wish Robarms would've kept on with their plan to make a dovetail front sight for that gas block, would look even better.

First shot out of mine killed a pesky beaver for a farmer...this is my second XCR and its sooo much nicer then my gen 1 version I had. Gonna shoot it stock for a while...I enjoy the irons.
I ripped 2 boxes of 55 gr. MFS with zero issues so far.

My guess is that it didn't matter much to the moose.

made a few changes. cut my homemade stock extension down to 1" fits me perfect without the fuglyness that it used to be. also got rid of the flash hider gotta take it to the range and see how it behaves.

Picked up an NEA adapter off the EE as well. Changes the gun for the better in my opinion. I wasn't a fan of the fast stock in the prone position...
