XCR Photoshoot....post em up let your XCR Freak Flag Fly

Been looking at a non restricted 223 to go with my tavor, can anyone give me the cliff notes on this xcr-l keymod thing?
whats the accuracy?
can it shoot 556?
how do you take it apart?
how durable is it?
does it take standard ar mags?
hows the trigger, can the trigger be replaced with a better one?
are spare parts available for purchase anywhere?
how reliable is this thing? ftf, fte, rounds stuck in chamber? light strikes?

Ill answer in my experience with my keymod

whats the accuracy? depends on ammo. I hit my 12X12" steel gong at 150 yards all day LOL
can it shoot 556? yes
how do you take it apart? stoopid easy, I can take it apart and clean it in 5 min. it is a battle rifle built to strip and fix in the feild. one latch and the upper pivots away and the gas and bolt assembly slides out.
how durable is it? bury it in mud and shoot it. submerge it in water and shoot it. I havent done this but I have seen the videos.
does it take standard ar mags? yes I have had luck with LAR, PCV beowulfs and standard AR mags
hows the trigger, can the trigger be replaced with a better one? no, but the new keymod versions are much much better. same as the new bolt.
are spare parts available for purchase anywhere? wolverine is the main dealer/importer for all XCR products they have it all.
how reliable is this thing? ftf, fte, rounds stuck in chamber? light strikes? Im over 1000 rounds down the pipe with only a few double feeds. not one single FTF or FTE or light strike. the adjustable gas system is great for this!

hope this helps

image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgWell my XCR-l , arrived earlier than I thought:):):). I had the dlask adapter and CTR stock already installed before it got here. I switched out the factory brake for a S&J linear comp. For now I have a Leupold 2X7x32 scope on her. After much , much thinking , I'm going to order a 2.5x 10x32 Vortec PST, tomorrow . Gonna break her in Sunday ... Can't wait:) oh , it's a keymod, 1/9 twist, with a heavy barrel.

Ya, I've tryed the fixed power, didn't like it , now I'm thinking magnification is more important. One of those 1x 8 scopes would be the cats azz... Best of both worlds.

found this interesting pic while browsing painted xcr's. AR carry handle?

Hi, we're with the Chief Firearms Office. We've come to learn from a recent post on Canadian Gun nutz, you've somehow converted a non-restricted into an AR that now uses Ak47 magazines, you're coming with us.
