XCR pictures

I think with the keymod + lighter barrel, its was like 1.5lb lighter than Heavy barrel and quad rail.

My quad rail heavy barrel 7.62x39 is a tank but I got it relatively cheap so I can live with it. My other 2 with the keymod forend feel much better even though they're still heavy barrels. A little bit of weight off the front of the rifle makes a huge difference.

The difference between the xcr-m heavy barrel with rails vs the xcr-m keymod pencil barrel is only 1 lb. I would expect the xcr-l's to be even closer in weight to each other. Shaving off a pound at the front of the gun makes the gun feel way lighter then it really is.

I have the light barrel competition XCR-L and I find it starting to creep up in the weight department. I've only got a mini red dot, WML and BCM short vertical grip on it, but it feels much heavier compared to my old 20" AR with an ACOG.

I have an ACR stock and adapter coming for it, and I'm thinking hard about putting a low power variable on it, but I'm worried it's going to make the thing even heavier. Part of me almost wants to try cutting back the handguard slightly because I feel like the competition model's handguard is a smidge longer than it needs to be, but that'd be bubba territory and I'm not confident there's a way to do it without the end looking awful.

I'll post some pics later

Absolutely loving this! Don't why but I do.

Here is my 6.8 SPC pseudo DRM set-up (5.56 barrel currently installed). Still in the early stages of load developing (newbie reloader).

This is the Luth AR MBA-3 buttstock with the NEA adaptor. I haven't seen a single XCR with this stock.
