XCR Rifle

well as I said, he is a great guy when you are infront of him , maybe has to do with him being 4 foot 7. But once you are done paying thats it. I have emailed them before with the questions about parts twice I got no response another they ansewered 1 of three questions. Thats enough for me to not need to do any business with them every again when there are so many great forum sponsers. I think there was a thread a while back called some thing along the lines of ......sks-d killer that had some other reasons why people gave up on them.

I am new, I just got my licence, and not too many shops local here so I do research. But like I said he was nice and service was great, I guess time will tell when I purchase something. But like the previous post, no one can seem to come up with a valid reason (beside emails) I dont count emails cause I do not always trust sending. So time will tell

Time told us, time will tell you.

Awesome and so true :D

Use the search function, if nothing shows up that's maybe due to some cleaning.
Anyway, the short story is that MGS is great until he's got your money. After that it's borderline a scam.
Some guys were lucky (in the beginning), but most get burned, not baldly but enough to NOT recommend him.
I don't know if his ban from CGN is related, but there was A LOT of complains about him on here.

So go ahead, and then come here to tell us the story :D

I did search, and I can NOT find a single thing... so all I am reading hear is speculation. I mean if a guy is scamming then he wouldnt be a legit busniess. BUT he is still around, for 2 years now?!?! so that is why I am getting a lil confused here

*EDIT* lol to be honest here is no such thing is being burned a lil that is not a scam.. it is either you were or werent scammed or burned

You won't find anything because:
a) most of it was cleaned.
b) dissatisfaction threads were locked by mods
c) you don't know how to use the search function

To use the search function properly, go to advanced search and set "find posts "to 36 month". Look up k1llercane or moregunssupply. Lot to go through, but make up your own mind.

still cant really find much... all I am seeing is hearsay (which everyone does) I will keep it posted as I buy stuff

Stay away from Sean. Read up on the whole AIA magazines made for "bolt action riffles"

I bought my XCR-L from Wolverine and my RFB and Sub-2000 from Wanstalls. Both are great and make sure they provide a good experience. Both are excellent.

I do remember the MoreGuns threads. I stroked them off my list because there hasn't been another single dealer that has caused more fit to hit the shan.

Also, Neo, I gotta say man.... you sound like a new account by an old favor....

This bums me out because unlike other cities, there are only the big box sporting goods stores here. Not exactly spoiled for choice.
Sean does kinda seem sorta sketchy. I thought it was just some over-active Spidey sense.

Ive always recieved excellent customer service from Wolverine whether I was spending money or had concerns after the purchase they always take care of the customers.

I've dealt with Wolverine before and have nothing bad to say about them. They're 1st rate.

I wouldnt buy anything from the guy but Id go to his store and get a feel for a specific rifle and then order it online from a reputable CGN dealer.

I saw something interesting on an XCR the other day. The helicoil that holds the barrel retention bolt in place had come loose and was wound up on the bolt, basically rendering the rifle NS.

The helicoil now has to be removed from the bolt and a new helicoil installed into the receiver before the rifle can be used.
