On the Robinson Armament website they've got something up so you can vote on what accesory barrels you'd like to see made - maybe we can have guys go there and vote for the 18.6" ones so we can get some non-restricted versions soon?

The latest word from Alex Robinson is a December delivery for our first XCR carbines, this is subject to some final details being sorted out. We do not have the exact specifications available at this time, apart from the 18.6 inch barrel length, so we do not have the final price. This initial order is small it will not cover all the inquiries that we have recieved. This will be followed by further deliveries as fast as we can get them.

As we have had XCR inquiries for close to two years, some definite, some vague, we have decided that the fairest way to preceed is to start with a new order list. It will work like this:

We will announce exact specifications and price as soon as they are confirmed. Once the shipment is en route to us we will make a final announcement and at that time, and not before, we will start taking full payments until the order is sold, strictly on a first come first served basis, with no prior reservations.

There's an update.

Ya I just noticed that on Wolverine's website. That's interesting, I wonder how much they'll be? How come all the nice rifles rarely make it into Canada and when they do its only a few and far between? :( oh well.

That not right, Why put your name on a list and wait like a loyal customer if they aren't going to honor it!
They should have asked for a deposit if they were worried about people flaking out.
I have had the money waiting aside for over a year.
This is BS

Before they switched to the new site, I could swear they had a price up for the non-xcr model (M96?) in the 875$ range... The XCR will be more $$$ for sure.

Zeddy,
I feel your disappointment, but if you got cash waiting then be ready to call soon as you hear the announcement. I know it's not the ideal situation, but Wolverine Supplies is a reputable vendor and stands behind what they sell. They often have gone above and beyond for their customers. I think the problem is more Robinson Arms, and not John and staff at Wolverine Supplies. John is doing the best that he can with a supplier/producer that is having trouble bringing their (hopefully excellent) product to market. Be patient, be happy, peace dude, we're all in this hobby together.:)

PS. Zed, I want an XCR also, but until then I'll just shot some other guns to pass the time.:runaway:

My guess is the price is more than John has intially guessed
AND its been so long a lot of people on the list died of old age
Sorry about the rant it just doesn't seem fair..I wish I would have had the choice if it was too expensive or not, besides with the anticiapation I would probley buy it at any price
