Thinking of switching my factory stock (skeleton) for an AR style. NEA vs Dlask, what's the pros and cons of each?

I have both of them, I prefer the NEA over the Dlask. The dlask piece is lighter. The tube position on the NEA adapter is higher and thats why I like it more, and there are far more available options for sling plates.

I have both the Gen 2 NEA and Dlask = I preferred the Dlask.

Both are sitting on a shelf now because I now prefer my new folding FAST stock.

I have tried both and ended up sticking with the Dlask. To me, it just looks better and more importantly; it feels better.

I own both, it all depends on what kind of stock you plan on using, CTR, MOE. MOD or any of the carbine style stock (ie, uses a buffer tube) go with the Dlask, if you are planning on using a UBR or A2 stock go with a NEA.

Thanks guys. After reading the replies and doing a bit of research I ordered a Dlask. No where does one find a commercial buffer tube and castle nut?

Commercial buffer tube and castle nut? I just got my last set of goodies from board sponsor Questar. But that was this Fall before all the OBAMA and Biden gun grabbing legislation is being dreamed of (right now). Silly hoplophobes!

Cheers,
Barney

I just wanted to confirm, if I wanted to attached a Magpul UBR stock to an XCR-M, which type of stock adapter can I use? I saw on another forum it appeared that a guy appeared to use both.
Thanks in advance.

nea is better fit for ubr, you can use dlask but you will need to move the cheekpiece on the ubr back or the charging handle will hit it.
