XCR stock suggestions

Since this is still stock related,
Whats the big beef with the NEA units? Any particular qualms about them? I wouldn't mind hearing whats what with it.

I just measured my nea with questars carbine package fully collapsed next to the factory. They both are roughly the same length (around 9 inches) like CC said, you will need only one or two clicks, but out is well worth it. ( I'm 6'4" with monkey arms)

Thanks man that is what I was hopping to hear now to just decide which stock to get.

I just picked up a cheap ATI and the Dlask adaptivator

It's just an odd design. For whatever reson they made the adaptor way too long and awkward......it just looks wrong on the rifle.

Ours was designed to let the user also mount a rifle stock to it and has QD points cut into the sides. Because of that, it has to be a little bigger than carbine only adapters.

I have absolutely no complaints with my NEA adaptor as far as I am concerned it fits my XCR-L perfectly even looks good I just wanted to be able to have more stock adjustment.

I also mount my scopes further forward on my XCR so I am putting my head further forward on it than any other rifle I have.

If I mounted the scopes in the normal position I would have far more stock adjustment with my NEA adapter.

So it is more due to me than the adapter being slightly longer than the Dlask.

Baron Dlask sells the adapter that is if they have any left if they don't when my FAST stock arrives I will have a Dlask adapter and a Magpul OD green CTR stock for sale as well. ;)

Also wondering as I was planing to buy one but didn't if I should get a Dlask or NEA.

the dlask follows the line of rifle really nice compared to the older style NEA.

I got one on a trade (old NEA) and i have no complaints, sure it messes with the aesthetics of the rifle a little bit, but function over form IMHO.

No problems with the fit or build of my nea so far. The older style does have two sling attachment points, one on either side in the same style as the XCR's factory stock. I won't be swapping it out anytime soon due to the fact I see no need for spending $50 on something that will do the same thing.

Yes you can it is called a FAST stock and it is now coming on the brand new XCR-L & -M rifles or you can order one of the stocks seperately I did...
