Going to purchase a .308 XCR Tact. primarily for hunting and a little bit of Range work. I want a barrell lenght that will put me out to 500Yds (if needed). I understand the importance of optics/practice and good ammunition. I like the idea of a 20in. barrell especially if I am in the bush but do not want to give up much longer range (500Yd) accuracy. Can anyone enlighten me on the performance I can expect between the two.
