I'm getting an XCR shortly and thought about putting a magpul UBR stock on it and I'm looking for opinions from anyone who has this set up. Also any advice on getting a stock adaptor/ buffer tube or anything else I may need to attach the two.
Any other owners with a different configuration of stock is welcome to give there opinion as well as my mind is not set just yet.
Thanks guys.

I have an XCR and UBR setup. All you need is an NEA adapter, Factory UBR, and Factory XCR as well as an allen wrench. You can drop it in and you are set. I like this setup over the factory tube stock for a number of reasons.

1.) It balances the front heavy HBAR configuration.
2.) The stock is adjustable unlike the factory.
3.) The stock is Magpul! (Duh! :) )

A couple of cons to this setup is that your cheekweld becomes like an AR15 (unless you like the higher setup) so you have to raise your optics to compensate for it. The plus is all the gucci AR15 stuff will now be at the proper cheekweld for the XCR. The only other con is the cost - UBR is plenty spendy for a stock...

Hey guys thanks for the advice. Glock if you have any pics of your set up I'd like to see them.....
Also I'm thinking of an NC star tactical scope..... Any thoughts? What type of optics are you guys using?

Anyone have pics with the newer NEA stock adapter mounted on (Pic of one with CTR mounted would be cool)? They look really long...

put a realistic price on that rifle and it'll sell like it should :p

What he is asking isn't outrageous considering they go for 2300 plus tax and shipping without the extras he is throwing in.

Throw up some pictures of these setups.
-Edit- as of right now, I put on the NEA folding stock adapter with the factory stock, XT rail panels, MIAD grip, and an EoTech 552. A nice Trijicon ACOG is on its way as well. Pictures to follow when its done.
x2 on dropping the NcStar optics idea.... go big or go home.

wowza bilka, nice looking shooter but what does that thing weight?

a ton!!! but I have a tactical dwarf dressed in black running in front of me. I just lay the rifle on it's head. More seriously it's more a bench gun than anything else. I also have a 7,62 which I keep on the light side for moving around the house at night chasing drunk teenagers.

I'm actually looking at this adaptor but probably put a Magpul CTR on it. This way I'll save some weight and $. I might also use the tube for some spare parts.
To install the tube, I'll need a castle nut and end plate right?

Tactical sniper: that adaptor pictured is the latest model, #XCR SA0002. Neit arms sells it for 70$.

I bought the NEA stock adapter and had it Cerakoted OD green but I've been holding off buying a stock I just can't decide if I want the CTR or UBR stock yet...

Even though I prefer the look of the UBR I am concerned with the weight of it the rifle is already 9 1/2 lbs the way I have mine set up...
