A complete .308 rifle would be a big hit up here. It would be great if that .308 rifle took the M14 mag. How about a 7.61x39 conversion kit for the XCR with a lower that would take the AK mags? More M96's, parts and a 7.62x39 conversion kit for that rifle? (I can dream can't I) AK mags and AR Mags are the most common thing out there as well as M14 mags.

Most of what you said is never going to happen, but keep dreaming...

is the xcr resticted or non-restricted in canada? i thought it was restricted.

another question, anybody know if the magpul masada(bushmaster acr) will be restricted ot non-restricted? i mean if the xcr is not restricted then i'm quessing the masada would be non-restricted too.

XCR is non-restricted.

Masada, I don't know, but hope it will not be.

308 for me, i'd definately be interested in 6.8 if the US allows the ammo to be exported here. Last I hear was they were thinking of declaring it a millitary round, but I also heard that argument was losing.

As for Canadian gun laws, if it looked scary it was either classed as prohibited or restricted.

Thing is, some of the new stuff is a different design and does not fall under the old classifications. The stoner M16 design was deemed restricted, so anything directly derived from that design is also restricted. but the XCR and 180b operate different enough to avoid the restricted classification.

I think the Liberals have been too busy trying to ban all guns rather than update the classifications in the C.C.

The people who buy the .308 will be kicking themselves in the end.

When Robarms makes a .22 kit, it will be for the XCR-L. We will be blasting away with unlimited magazines and 12" barrels in the bushes while the .308 guys are paying a buck a round with no chance of converting to anything else.

get both!!!

The 6.8 yays have passed the nays.
I hope Wolverine is going to keep a large ammo supply available for us 6.8 owners.
I will be reloading for mine and they recommend full length case sizing.
Time to gather brass and load 6.8 rounds I guess.
It takes about 300 rounds to break the rifle in, at that point you can turn the gas adjustment down so the brass ejects about 10 feet, and knock the recoil down.
