XD-40 vs Glock and others

Regards, TDC (Troll Driving Controversey?) I did mention that the striker indicator is basically useless. The loaded chamber indicator on the Glock is not adequate, it is in fact barely noticeable. Furthermore, I resent the insinuation that I as an operator "suck". I have professional training and know very well how to shoot. The Glock trigger is inferior to a DA/SA trigger. Many professional shooters and hobby shooters alike complain of the Glock mushy trigger, in fact so many complaints has propagated various DIY trigger jobs and trigger replacements.

Learn to be sociable.

Tim.

i've got both and i like the XD's trigger better but it feels like the glock has a short reset so might be quicker for follow up shots...the finish on the glock is vastly superior to the XD...the guide rails (not sure of the exact term) on the XD are beefier and look like they can be replaced and i like the grip angle better on the glock but both are very good...it's a toughy....and TDC with regards to you throwing loaded pistols downrange..i hope you're not stupid enough to do that with other people around...a glock is a mechanical device made by another human being and as such CAN fail..nothing is perfect i can't believe you're even saying that sh*t and then putting other people down for having poor training etc...unreal.

Again, someone else has just proven how uneducated they are with regards to how Glocks function. Let me make this very clear so even the slowest person will understand.

IT IS MECHANICALLY IMPOSSIBLE FOR A GLOCK PISTOL TO FIRE UNLESS THE TRIGGER IS DEPRESSED TO THE REAR. THE STRIKER IS NOT UNDER TENSION OR CHARGED UNTIL THE TRIGGER IS DEPRESSED.

Training involves more than just safe firearms handling. Safe firearms handling is the pre-requisite for training. Don't worry, the safety of all involved was accounted for prior to any firearm being tossed.
