XD-9 Tactical or SP-01 Tactical

Good Day Everybody,

I am attempting to purchase my first handgun and am having a hard time deciding between the XD9 and SP-01. I have shot both and like both equally as much. I like how both look and feel. They are both not locally available and are roughly the same price. Is there a significant advantage to either one of them? I would like to eventually shoot competitively but that isn't such a major factor.

Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Because Springfield doesn't sell any parts, if something happend to your XD, you will have to send it back for repair/warranty work.
