XD9 light suggestions

So heres what I know about lights, Ive looked at multiple cheap lights thinking I would save some money, I checked out power and quality as well as battery life and lastly construction, so with that said I ordered a streamlight trl-1 from daves surplus and tactical a board sponsor, I got a superb quality light and exceptional service as usual from daves!! The light is approx 80 lumens and is almost as bright as my surefire defender(also from daves)I mounted it on a brand new sig p229r with night sights, it fits beautifully and is a great addition to a great firearm, save a little extra dough for a while and buy a good quality light,...... once!!

For my XD, I bought a surefire X300. And also from board sponsor "Dave's Surplus" too. I like it. But I'm not really "tactical" or anything like that. I just stick it on my XD and fool around with it at the range. I wish I could find a holster for the XD that let you keep the light on it.
