XDM .45ACP, any possibility of 10 round mags?

Hey everyone (and dealers)

Has anyone heard anything about the XDM .45ACP coming out? Specifically, any information about the capacity of the magazines?

The only thing that i have heard as of yet is that the magazine will most likely be 13-14 rounds...
But i have not heard anything definite as of yet...

Just wanted to put it out there...

Has anyone or any dealers heard anything about the possibility of the XDM .45ACP magazines coming out with 10 round magazines?
 
I was about to gave up XDM, the 9mm and 40 haven't made their way up here. Some dealer do have their way to import some but at a higher cost. I think the .45 will be two years later if not.

Yeah, i have noticed that a few dealers are importing the gun, and then pinning the magazines to 10 rounds in order to make them legal...

This is def an option...

But wouldnt it be nice if the damn thing just came with a 10 round magazine! :D:dancingbanana::D
 
Ellwood Epps states it has some in stock , I ended up finding it by looking for a XD 9 and just by chance it says they have 1 for around 820.00 with 2 magazines . They also have one in .357 sig .

I was thinking of buying the .45 but being a first time shooter im not interested in 45acp right off the bat.

Umm...they have the XD is stock.

I am talking about the XDM. In the .45ACP (not yet released i believe)Different gun.
 
Yes they do come in 10 round mags and yes you can get them in Canada. It all depends on how much $$$ your willing to spend. Call Saskatoon Gun Works.

Saskatoon Gun works does indeed stock the XDM. They are pinning the stock magazines to 10 rounds (which i was unaware of! Totally cool, sounds like it is working well for them).

I am def considering picking on of these up.

However...
I was wondering if the .45ACP was coming out with a stock 10 round mag

Nope & it also comes with a cool sticker on the side that states;
NOT FOR SALE IN CALIFORNIA
I guess us Canadians aren't the only 1's that hate these stupid mag laws.

Same thing in NY state. The XDM hasn't made its way there either - because of the high-capacity mags. Getting it from Saskatoon Gunworks is your best bet, IMO. My .40 XDM came from them. I'm sure they'll get the .45, too - eventually...

I have contacted Saskatoon Guns works. Sounds like a great shop. My interactions/communication with them has been very positive thus far.

No word yet on the .45ACP...
But they do have the 9mm and .40 cal avaiable (with the stock mags pinned to 10 rounds).

And you are right, that seems that getting the gun, with the altercations (the mags pinned to 10 rounds) is the only real option.
I had read previously that Springfield was planning on releasing a 10 round mag. They had said that i would happen in 2009 (which obviously never happnened)....

I emailed the company, and was informed that they had previously planned on making a 10 round mag, but for reasons that where not mentioned, these plans have been scrapped and there are currently no plans to release a 10 round mag for any of the XDM line.

Anyone want to get a petition/letter writing campain going!?
