Pics would be great, Vinnie. Really glad to hear they've made it in, i'm going to put an order in this week.
Did they make new 10 round mags for it, or are they pinned?

VINNE, I've only asked you about 3 times (as well as other members here) how, exactly, you got the gun into Canada.

Quite frankly, I call BS on your entire story until you throw a pic up of you with something Canadian related and a picture of the mags.

That's fantastic that you -claim- to have this gun, but why you seem to feel a need to keep the knowledge you -claim- to posses of pinning the mags to 10 a secret is beyond me.

Gee, the jealousy already is showing. I can vouch for Vinnie, his claims, the guns and can assure you that the whole process was a learning experience. Now quit being such a whiney little girl and get on with your life:D Face it, he has one and you do not..Ha haw:h: He is under no obligation to share any info he chooses not to. He had to learn without any help from you.

That's fine. I hold no ill will toward the guy at all. I just find it difficult to believe that a simple question cannot be answered, like the one I've asked him several times already - HOW ARE THE MAGS PINNED?

If he doesn't want to share that, that's fine, but I fail to see why it's such a big deal.

I never really recognized how the XD series of pistols was any different from a glock.

The XDM I'm still on the fence about.

I shot xd several times before bought the Glock, XD is a better shooter, it is better made, I went with Glock only because the parts are easy to find and don't really need any warranty.

Hey Mr S, all in jest anyways so no harm intended. I think he mentioned at some point they were modified with JB which is far superior to the pop rivet being requested by Cda Customs..

What features about the xd did you like over the glock? How was it a better shooter?

Boy, for someone who has no idea what he is talking about, you sure are opinionated. The hoops Vinnie had to go through, are quite extensive. Suffice it to say, he got it done. I get to shoot it 2nd, on Sunday. i'll let you know how it goes. Oh, by the way, the Mags were indeed pinned with JB weld, but it took forever to get Canada Customs to accept it.

I find the XD fits the hand better and points much more naturally then glocks. Also, the trigger was far better, and only gets more so with time. The glocks always point low for me, and feel like im holding a lumpy bit o 2x4. They are a fine gun, adn i can shoot them well, but it's easier shooting the XD faster and accuratly. Again, this is just me, your hands may be different.

Oh, and i really dislike plastic sights....

That is some interesting thing about the XD, just by the look, not much different between XD and Glock, but I believe XD has a tighter tolerance than Glock, and it gives you more solid griping, better trigger, you can feel when fire both side by side and that why I am in the line of XDM but I have to sell some toy to get money.

For anyone that posted a question ... Sorry, didn't see them. Voxx Boxx & Icelink sent me private messages (their choice) and I answered all questions they had and also offered to assist with the whole importation experience.

I am unable to download pics to this site (Photobucket seems to be down, will try again later) ... or send me your private e-mail account and I can send it that way, this evening. The only pic I was able to load is my Avatar.

The mags were restricted just as done on www.vaportrails.us/html/xdm.html ... the difference is that Jason Wong had used JB Weld because of its Shear / Tensile / Flex strength along with resistance to chemicals and heat.

So what else do you and others want to know in getting one into Canada???
