XDM upgrades?

I am interested in getting a springfield XDM, but was suprised when comparing it to glock as far as readily available upgrades. Theres powder river triggers and trijicon sights, but thats about it, while a local dealer has glock upgrades out the demon hole. Gold compensators, mag wells, different barrels, ext. Mag release you name it. Does anyone know where some XDM upgrades might be available?
 
Xdgunpartsdotcom used to ship to canada. They had everything under the sun for xd/xdm parts. But they no longer do it sadly. Either powder river or springer precision have their own online store and will ship to canada direct. Can't remember which but have a look at their site. Lastly brownells will ship xd/xdm stuff but the selection is not very good. Also if you're buying a recoil spring from brownells just beware that they will sell you the .40sw factory spring for your 9mm.
 
Im surprised by that, but im an exibition shooter, shooting for fun, not for work. Ill play around but probly never compete. Overall I thought it looked the best, has an extra safety feature, and performs well from what I could find minus the magazines. Austria vs croatia pistols... I dont know. Seems like the differences overall are pretty small while opinions of them are kinda extreme.
 
For myself, the XDM 45 Competition is more accurate at 50 yards than my CZ97 or 1911 at the same price. But what’s my word worth, a little bit research on the bullseyeform will reveal the US Army Marksmanship Unit has been using these pistol for some events (9mm) and others are reporting very good accuracy out of factory barrels.
 
I love my XDM .45. It’s what fits me best so far. I’ve narrowed my collection to what points and feels good in my hand. I have the Powder custom trigger pack(nice), and Trijicon HD sights.
