Xero - will it work for me?

Should I guess where you're from? If so, it dosen't surprise me.
I'd rather not get into the stupidity of it all, but this range exists inside of a hunting zone. In fact, the range closes during deer season so as not to disrupt hunting activities. So it's safe to shoot animals, but not paper.

It's a single lane, 100 metre range.

I don't think I would have a problem positioning it. I'm more concerned about what it expects to "see". The first 25' are completely enclosed for noise abatement. It's the gas, smoke, shock waves that have me more concerned.
Noise abatement?….:)

Quebec needs to allow suppressed firearms. That province seems to make their own rules anyway when it comes to guns.

Some gun ranges that have wild game on and or near the range, end up with deer, bears, and even sometimes elk feeding between the shooting lanes.

Oliver, BC is actually one of those ranges. The wild animals get so used to the loud firearm sounds, they do not even lift their heads when the guns go off. I’ve seen this several times in the years I lived there.

So your Quebec gun range closing the range during the actual deer season is definitely odd.

And shooting through a Liberal glory hole is the stupidest thing I’ve ever seen in in 50 years of hunting and target shooting.

I do understand the theory of the noise capturing scenario, but really? Allow suppressing the noise with proper suppressors….:)

I wonder how that system would work, with my muzzle braked 338 LM? In the video you can see the gasses from firing, people 20+ feet away feel the effects. @ my range there's 2 sides for center fire . One ends at 200m and the other stretches to 650. Most of the time I'm on the long side unless I'm zeroing, or getting fancy with my 22lr at 200m lobbing rounds downrange.

What I'm wonder is why it isn't close enough for the muzzle to fit through and still view the scope.

My set up allows the muzzle to protrude through the hole, simply because the muzzle blast will come back at the shooter and anyone else close by.

OP, if you can be positioned far enough ahead so the muzzle protrudes, you're well advised to do so.

From your pics, I assumed that's what you were doing, even after reading the above, it appears that the muzzle fits through the hole.
