I've been gathering parts for quite a while now and am finally close to the end. As of now I am missing an accurate re-pro of the flash hider and a true A1 lower. I have a home made copy of the F.H. but am looking into getting one of the Griffin Armament copies.

I recently bought an older Nork CQ rifle with an A1 lower but am looking into getting one of the Brownell lowers. If that's not possible, I will have the Nork lower anodized or coated to match the A1 upper I have.

I bought a 11.5 barrel from Questar a few years ago and had it turned down to the proper dimensions forward of the FSB by Tier One Armoury in Edmonton. I am very happy in how it turned out and Greg and Dale have been a great help in this project. I highly recommend their services.

On to the pics.

Nice job I really like the stock, the aluminum stocks are hard to find it really completes the rifle, I have been looking for one for a while.

What kind of sling is that on that rifle?

Agreed, but the FH looks right. If you had a friend who could possibly get one for you.......

I just checked Troy's web site and it is listed as a GAU-5. Seems that the FH is permanently pinned on and they don't list it as an available accessory.
It seems they are offering the rifle with an Armson OGS like the Ton Say (Son Tay?) raiders used. Not sure if it's an original or a copy.

Way cool - I shot one of those on a CAR, very fast (for the day) - that was bleeding edge stuff, back in the day. Still pretty useable, in fact.

It's Son Tay. There's a shop doing reproductions of USGI lowers with the correct markings. I forget the name.
