Such an FRT already exists, as the handful of Troy XM and GAU Commemorative carbines in Canada readily attest. However, the creation of an FRT for a specific barrel length of AR is no guarantee that our RCMP Masters will allow the registration of every specific make and model with that barrel length. Once again, the cessation of new registrations for the Troy carbines is proof of that. All because of some utterly harmless markings that the panty-twisting horsemen don't like...
 
I'd be very surprised if our RCMP Overlords and their CBSA Minions allow the Colt commemorative to be sold in Canada. After all, they share the same panty-wetting, evil engravings on the exterior of the lower receiver as the Troy carbines. You know - the exact same selector markings and Auto--Sear Pin hole as found on countless other AR15s already circulating within Kanada.... ����

I'm surprised the M16A1 Reissued showed up in Canada. I inquired through another importer and they phoned and talked the US State Dept. and they said no way, won't issue a export permit. Yet everyones favorite importer bought some in. So how does the US State Dept. say no to one exporter and some how the other is able to get them....
