Xmas Norinco

I got it from Brownells in the states, mailed it up here pretty quick, keep your orders under $100 and it'll be all good through customs. Come to think of it, it could have been FabSports too. I got the different pieces from all over lol.
 
I've been looking at getting the Norinco as my first AR and the YHM free floating handguard was exactly what I was looking at.

Is that the Specter length one that you have?
Specter Length Diamond Forearm (Weight 15.8 oz.) (YHM-9637-DX)

I'm guessing that I'll also need:
1 Forearm Plug Kit YHM-9437K
1 Forearm end cap YHM-9484-A
1 Forearm wrench YHM-9621
1 Barrel nut YHM-9483
1 Jam nut YHM-9433
1 Low profile gas block ???

Did you buy in Canada or direct from YHM?

Hey there. It is the Specter length on my Norc. I ordered it off ebay and had it sent up no problem. It came with the barrel nut and jam nut. I got a low profile gas block from Brownells and the end cap from Fabsports although that is back ordered and I have no idea when it'll show up. Install was easy, though I'd suggest youtube for some basic instructions to go along with. Hope this helps! Have fun.

Yeah, I'm just trying out different ways to set up, I'm new to longer range sooting and I'm working out the kinks. I want to get a flip to side mount for my scope and then try the backup Buis. It is a little much with all the add-ons. I"m going to clean it up when I figure out the sights.
