I got 1000 rounds of this to check it out.

The bullet is conical in shape with a flat meplat and is cast lead with a burgandy coloured coating. It looks pretty cool, but initially I wondered if the flat point would result in feeding issues, even though the rest of the bullet is very tapered.

I've only run about 400 rounds through both Beretta 92 and Beretta Cx4 Storm carbine. All rounds fed and fired without issue. Recoil is mild and the smell from the fired rounds is a bit funny. Can't place it just yet but maybe shotgun powder or fireworks smell. It kinda smells like coconut :)

At 100m with the carbine the accuracy isn't great, I suspect since it's a bit milder than many factory loads. However, it's bang on for handgun shooting at 0-25 m,. which is what most of this ammo will be used for. When I say not great, it's that I couldn't consistently hit a 6' gong at 100m with a carbine with a red dot;.

Good product

Did you mean to say 6 inch (i.e., 6") gong or was it really 6 foot (i.e., 6')?
Makes quite a difference accuracy wise. ;)

Shipping via purolater was about $35 IIRC. I'm more likely to buy 5000 or 10 000 at a time, which would reduce shipping considerably as it would go freight rather than courier. Good to see another ammo maker in Canada.

Thanks for the post, been looking froward for reviews on this ammo before pulling the trigger, and it is nice to have another company producing!!

I wonder about the brass, for reloading? Who makes it?

6 moa is very respectable from a 9mm at 100m without magnification! With a 6x scope, my "normal" is about 3 moa at 50m, 4 moa @ 100m

Hello guy's

Thank you for reviewing our product. I am back from the IPSC national 2016 and I would like to let you know that Alexandre Barda won the competion with our 9mm 147gr hitek bullets. That prove that our bullets are at least as good as any other brand on market now. I also want to thank you for supporting our companie.

I was at the nationals etienne explained his process of heating and coating the bullets 3 times. He showed me bullets that were crushed and the coating is there intact. I was impressed with his product.

Just loaded a couple of sample packs of 147's i got at summerslam and nationals, cant wait to try them out

Just went they 300 9mm 124gr and 600 55gr 223.

Not one single issue. Feeds/fired perfectly and as accurate as expected.

9mm was tested in Glock17, Sig 226, M&P9 and CZ Shadow
223 was fired thru 2 ARs flawlessly and produced good results from 10 to 100m

Will definitly buy again !!
