Apparently, they have one for the 870.

Pretty expensive, though.

The XRail gets top marks for ingenuity and it certainly will appeal to those who see value in high capacity magazines on shotguns. As for me, I just think its a really neat idea, although I'm not sold on the practicality of the device.

To bad Canada thought it right to limit my magazine in my auto-loader.!

Ya 8 double 00 in the extender and 5 or so in the mag tube!

WOW!

That would be fun to have, although with the regulations the way they are it might not be as useful as it looks... A pump would be the only shotgun that you could use this time of magazine extender on, yet I don't think the reduced recoil and improved recovery time would make much of a difference as working the action might A) be enough time to get back on target, and B) might disrupt your aim regardless... then you have to worry about actually acquiring a target with that much extra weight at the end of your barrel... It would be fun though, if for the fact that you won't really have to reload, and to see the look on your friend's faces when you're going through shell after shell while they're struggling to reload theirs.

seems a bit silly to me. wouldnt a mag-fed shotgun with some spare mags offer pretty much the same advantages but none of the disadvantages?
i owned a Mossberg 8-shot persuader and it was unwieldy as hell with a full mag, i cant imagine how it would handle after adding another few pounds to the muzzle end. would probably have the handling characteristics of an 8-foot 2x6 :D

I agree that a box magazine would be superior, but Saiga's are prohib.

Doesn't norinco have a box-fed semi-auto 12 gauge?
