XS sight systems Big Dot tritium front sight

Going to be building up a 14" HP9-1 soon and was looking for alternatives to installing a front and rear ghost ring sight set. Alternative meaning something cheaper.

Would this sight be adequate for shooting slugs to 50-75 yards? Any feedback relating to them would be greatly appreciated.

You might also look at the MARBLE ARMS Tritium shotgun sight, Not sure if they'll ship the XS sight to canada, But know they will the Marble.
