Hi guys,
I ended up with a Marlin 60SNand I am now waiting on a Boyds stock to complete it. I love this gun! It looks good, it feels good, it shoots well and it was extremely well priced.

I was wondering if anyone out there has any model of the Marlin XT-22 line. I am going to get one of those next and wanted to get some feedback if possible.

Thanks!

I got an xt22, one with a heavy barrel. It's been great so far, smallest group I've been able to shoot was around 3/4" at 50yrds if I recall correctly. Super fun to shoot and pretty accurate with the cheap bulk ammo, curious to see what it can do with some good match grade .22 ammo. Nice little bolt action, glad I got one.

I have a 925, which if im not mistaken, is the predecessor to the XT-22. I love mine! Its very accurate and well made for the price point I paid for it. I did the Bic pen spring trigger mod and the trigger is much better. I wouldnt hesitate buying an XT-22

I had an xt-22 youth. It was great, I had to upgrade to taller techsights in order to get a sight picture (I was trying to make a small/light pack rifle. I sold it when I realized I would always grab my 8" 10/22 instead.

The xt-22 was super accurate for me -but I only tested it to maybe 50yds and that was open sights only.

The only issue I ever had was the odd FTE. (The extractor is the weak link on this gun)

I have a youth ss with laminate stock and fire sights hiding in the back of the safe for the kid when he gets a bit older. Should be just right, I really like it and super tempted to shoot it but will wait.

I really like the Marlin products and you just can't beat the price. I'll have to investigate that trigger mod. My 60SN is a bit stiff, but not that bad.

my xt.17 has ejector issues but its caused by the shell catching the mag when ejecting a shell. Slight mod to the mag fixes it . Same mag as the xt.22

Can you elaborate on this, pics maybe? It's the one thing I notice with my xt22, but it seems to happen more with certain brands of ammo. I just gave the chamber a real good cleaning, ran a solvent soaked brass brush on a drill in the chamber. Hopefully that solves it, i figure some ammo must have more of a wax coating on it than others.
