Xtreme Models of Tanfoglio Pistols now available for Pre-order. Stock II/III and LC

Beat the first post :D

So, when these come in, do you email us? Only reason I ask is because I may wish to add things to the order before it goes out

Also, is there a suitable non-race holster for this? Will the stock II holsters fit the stock III? Are you aware of a non-race holster that has some type of retention...like a thumb drive?

Naturally, we'll let you know when the guns come in - we'd definitely let you know before you got the balance charge to your credit card or needed a balance EMT.

Bladetech and Ghost Stinger make non-race holsters for Tanfoglio Stock Models. Not aware of something with extra retention, but I'll check around.
Non-race Holsters that fit Stock IIs won't work with Stock IIIs and vise-versa. The rail vs. no-rail frames are the issue. (Race Holsters, are in fact - interchangeable)

I use a ghost stinger for my stock 3 and I have never had a retention issue. Similar to the Bladetech but a little smoother i find. The price on the new stock 3 is pretty good considering what it would cost to go from a bone stock stock 3 to that.

I want to use this gun for 3 gun as well, and I'm not sure the ghost holsters are quite for that. I agree the retention is as good as any, but the rules do specify practical/tactical style carry holsters.

This is from FNH

5.3.2 Handgun holsters must be a practical/tactical carry style and must safely retain the handgun during vigorous movement. The holster material
must completely cover the trigger on all semiautomatic pistols. Revolver holsters must completely cover the trigger and the cylinder. The
belt upon which the handgun holster is attached must be worn at waist level. Shoulder holsters and cross draw holsters are prohibited.

I think I might be better served with a bladetech for this purpose.

We will confirm caliber via email (if it was not filled into the order) and later today - a caliber option will be up for the guns on the website so it can be selected.

We are stocking 9s in Stock II/IIIs, a couple 40s in Stock II/IIIs and 40s only in Lim Customs.

But you can have them in any caliber you want - we'll order it in for you.

Hey just wondering, they say trigger jod done at the factory, Do we have numbers? Triggers on Tanfo are always a little heavier than CZs So I wonder how they are on the extremes. I'm in for one if the trigger is sweet

The extremes have Eric's new hammer design and he certifies / checks the installs. Based on his comments at SHOT and the experience people are having fitting Xtreme parts in their existing Tanfoglios, it's safe to say that the Stock models should be in the 2.5lb SA, 6 lb DA range when they come in.

Sorry I have to take issue with something that was said in the other thread

You can build an xtreme yourself if you can't wait for a bit less then what they will retail for

I double checked and I can't see how this is possible....I priced out the standard stock3, with the extreme parts (grips, guide rod, Firing pin, front sight, hammer and the custom mag catch) and came out to $1530.

Plus you would have to add a mag and 3 extreme base pads to get to the stock3 extreme package, which is another $175 right there. That puts you at $1705 and doesn't come with the ceramic finish or the trigger job by Freedom Ventures.

the trigger and every Xtreme edition gun is evaluated by Eric Grauffel before it leaves the Tanfoglio factory. I believe it comes with a certificate stating as such. (from what i have read and been told)

adding parts is something reserved for glocks and HK's....the parts in some cases need some fitting with higher end guns.
