Yaqui holster?

I'm thinking about possibly shooting the CDP division in IDPA this year.

In my search for 1911 holsters the Yaqui design keeps popping up. Has anyone had any experience using one? If so what did you think. It seems to be a fairly inexpensive and simple design, the only draw back I can see is getting the front sight snagged on the draw. Having never used one I'm not sure if I'm worried about a non existent problem or if it's an actual concern.

I'm grateful for any info you guys can throw my way.

Most of the really good concealment holsters are poorly suited to the constant drawing and re-holstering that is done at a match (imho), but the Yaqui probably does it the best out of the bunch.
I'd be concerned with the front sight as well, especially if you are running a fiber optic - that thing will be just begging to fall out
