YATTHBT (Yet another target tactical home build thread) :)

hahaha I have a pretty similar build:
action is standard 10/22
same stock
Barrel is MCgowen SS 18 inch cerakoted/texturised
extended mag release
triger spring changed

I need to bed it and change the rail to fit a PO 8X56mm kalinka optic whit integrated range finder and illuminated!

is that a 1" diameter barrel? I like the looks of the Pac-Lite, but the website says the diameter is 1". Would look good on my Savage (also planning to put it into a tan Tacticool), but I believe my barrel is .800" if I remember correctly.

Nice.

Now you need to replace the original take down screw with a Hex one. A lot of the parts in mine are still stock, but not the take down screw :D.

Ah, found one. Dlask has them for $4.99

Thanks,
D.

Good stuff. Sorry for the delay. It's a worthwhile upgrade, especially when paired with a Torque set screwdriver (firearms ones with torque settings, available pretty much anywhere).

That thing looks awesome, great job on your build! I really like your bobbed stock look and can't wait to see how it shoots.
Really... I'm for once impressed by a gun built around the 10/22 design. That my friend, is a tough thing to do. It looks cool yet practical, and being constructed solely from component parts it should be very reliable and accurate. Nice work.

Nice rifle!
I'm really starting to dig that style stock, and you really did well for yourself with that DAR receiver.
Just make sure a shoot it, be a waste if you don't exercise it some.
