No. Definitely not something to show on youtube. All the moronic laughing is downright sickening as it seemed something "fun" and "pleasurable" for them. Pitifull. Very pitifull.

With sh!t like this we are doomed. No wonder we are seen unfavorably by the masses.

Just for the record...
I find hunting both fun and pleasureable.......
After a real hard day of stomping bush and hunting I even get a uphoric feeling...............

so.....

Just stick the barrel in the hole and finish it. No need to put the animal through that kind of fear and suffering. I'm all about quick, ethical kills, not wounding the animal and then toying with it before killing it, like a cat plays with a mouse before eating it.

Exploding gophers is instant death. This coyote charade is ridiculous.

I once knew a guy who used to do some crazy stuff as a kid. Crazy, as in snare gophers, crucify them on a homemade cross, and then pour gas on them and light them on fire.

People who enjoy the suffering of other living things are kind of sick. If you know what I mean.

Yeah. So do I. This is different. Very different. The animal is injured and in misery. Where's the euphoria in that?

You know your a Redneck when...........

I agree with the others about all the laughing. As for shooting it while it was in the hole as was mentioned, with only one bullet left, I doubt it would have been a humane shot by shooting it in the ass. As for pulling it out like that on camera where all the anti hunters can see, I am a nay.

Just sayin.....

I WAS NOT THERE so I don't know the whole story.

I/WE don't know.........

They were finishing off the yote, they could have just left.....

I have had some shot animals do some funny #### before, even laughable....

Should they have used better judgement about posting it on the web?

YES

I have a hard time with the "respecting the animal" your hunting thing. If I respect the animal I wont hide in a tree and shoot the animal through the vitals or guts with a high powered rifle or pointy stick. Most of these animals we are supposed to respect would kill and eat you in a second if they had the chance. The video looks to me like some kids having some fun in the outdoors.I shoot and eat animals because that is what they are there for and I dont need to justify it by "respecting" them or worrying about what some anti hunter thinks. Just my opinion.

At least they didn't let it suffer a slow death in the hole as I'm assuming it crawled in there with a bullet hole in it already. As far as the laughing, it seemed more like nervous laughing but I could be wrong. In hunting there are just some things the non hunting population just would not understand and they would perceive pulling a coyote out of a hole by its tail cruelty but I believe the did they coyote a favor considering the situation it was in. Yay for being determined to finish/recover the animal, Nay for putting it on youtube for non hunters to misunderstand.

Yea or nay? What's the question? Is it ethical? Well they said they had shot it and it had gotten in there alive still so if the question is ethics, I say yea to it as they have made all possible effort to dispatch and retrieve it as most game laws state. Wouldn't be something I'd do, sticking my hand in there but some folks have pretty big kahunas to say the least! If I could have seen it in there and shot it first killing it then that would have been my way but either way they finally dispatched it.

I'm pretty sure they could have shot the coyote right in the hole. Obviously with hunting or predator dispatching, some type of creature is going to die when it boils down to it. These guys just seemed to have too much fun in the anticipation of how it was going to happen.

If you've ever winged a duck and brought it down, did you think of a fun way to kill it?? Or just break the neck and carry on....I dunno......

"respect for the animal". My interpretation of this is: IF you have decided to kill an animal, you do it in the most efficient/ effective and timely manner you can.

If it's worth killing, it's worth respecting. ;)

Nay...IMHO you should always have respect for the animal.

Laughing at it's situation is tasteless.

Big x 2 for me. I take no pleasure in the actual act of killing anything, which doesn't mean I don't have fun hunting. I love hunting, but taking a life is not taken lightly with me. I treat everything I harvest with the utmost respect. Hunting is a very personal thing, and everyone has their own take on it.
