YEEEEUUP ! NF 2.5-10x42 compact was shipped today !

I got my scope two days ago and am amazed what an improvement it is over the 32mm objective model that I had and sold. I love the choice of red or green illumination and having parallax adjustment. This scope is going on a 280AI that should be finished any day now. Super pumped to get that set-up shooting.
 
Pics when you get the scope mounted on your new rifle. I mailed my gun this morning, my stock and barrel are at the shop already so it should be done inside 6 weeks. Cant wait to get this rig all dialed in.
 
I will, mounting it in a Near Alphahunter that I have. It will be basically a LA version (280AI) of this rifle combo below. Not the best picture but it is a rem 700 7-08 in a mcmillan edge with a near Alphahunter. As stated before I sold the 32mm NF right away, didn't like the scope without parallax adjustment.

What scope mount is that ? and what does it weigh ? IM considering going to a rail if I can get one light enough I can justify
