This morning, I was watching a bear hunt on TV and figured I'd check to see how many people are killed by bears each year. For the entire 2010's, there were a total of 26 people killed by brown (grizzly) and black bears. SO, I figured I would check to see how many are killed by lightning - approximately 61 per year. SO, if you want to live a long and healthy life, carry a 1 iron instead of a gun in the bush.

Why a 1 iron? Because golfers say even God can't hit one.

Apparently hundreds of golfers are killed annually by lightning, world wide. Even God hates golfers. :)

there are about 3 weeks a year id bring a gun for bear protection (here in east ont)

besides that id leave it home.

Lots of black bear around me but besides early spring they keep to themselves
