Well it started out yesterday morning at day light in -17 degree weather i saw 2 yotes go in to a small wood lot here S W ONT. from a distance of about 1/2 mile thur my binos.I carefully back tracked down wind and came up along a ceder fence line about 300 yards down wind of the bush and made a set.I tried howlling first ,then rabbit sqawls, then some more howls NOTHING? I stayed for about an hour until i could not feel my fingers anymore. Gone right, just i get back to my truck some hound hunters pull up' they seen the tracks were they crossed the road. They asked if i was done, gave them a ya and they turned the dogs loose. In less than 5 minutes those dogs put not 2 but 5 yotes out of that little bush. What 'THE H' am i doing wrong? Is it a tuff time of year to hunt them,i know the didn't see me.Sure could some help on this one. Rick

I think this area i was in is heavly hunted by the fellows with hounds. Those coyotes are afraid to even move.Guess i better find a new huntin spot Thanks everyone RICK
