Yet another how much is my garand worth thread

Interesting that I clicked on this thread I also have a Danish Garand and the first 4 nimbers in the serial are 1549 (probably means nothing). your barrel is marked D 6535448 10-56 304 and mine is D 6535448 11-56 308. Out of all the Danes I've owned ot own they all have a number after the drawing and date, I've always assumed that that is the number of the barrel. I think they may have been close during a referb. Claven2 maybe able to verify if I'm thnking straight and mine also has a nice deep park.

Edit: verified numbers on my garand

Oh brother...these threads kill me.

Supply and demand folks, supply and demand. There are no vast stocks of M1 imports that will make it here. If there were , don't you think Marstar would be all over it based on current prices??

Prices will continue to drive north regardless what is said here. Garands I consider shooter grade routinely sell here for 1000 at asking price.

Supply and command eh? (Rickyism)

I've seen entire months go by on this site with not one Garand for sale aswell as Carbines, K98s, Enfields, Mosins, CZ858s, Glocks, Sigs etc. Just because there're few and far between one month doesn't necessarily mean that the next month the market isn't flooded with them. People have to learn that sure 'they don't make them anymore', but there will always be one for sale 'soon' if not a dozen. It's real funny when you talk to people at your local club or people you know outside of the web forums and they're selling guns they don't even consider asking some of the prices that things apparently go for around here. (read 'apparently') as Claven said no one ever posts what they actually let it go for.

BTW the Adjustable Gas Plugs arrived.

Well, thanks for the input everyone. I put it on EE @ $1245 including 6x clips and it sold in a day for the asking price

Prices are moving north.

I'd say they are worth about a GARAND... get it? :D In all seriousness... nice stocks on those, wish Norinco would get to work on making a $400 version of these... or better yet Dominion Arms.
