this was my last day Wt buck killed in s Alberta. I had passed up 35 bucks this year, but did not see one over 155" so this one ran into a very triggerhappy owner of a 6,5-05 Kimber. I took him trotting at 310 yards, a bit too far back, then flattenned him at 350. I cannot believe how flat this gun shoots, or the impact it has. bullet is 125 gr partition. I also shot 3 coyotes that day. Man we had a blast, no hunters, deer all over the place, and good coffee and BS with my brother, who is a great guy to hunt with. I had him(THE DEER) made into sausage, which I gave to my gf's family as bribes, as I got engaged over the holidays, with full stomachs, they found it hard top ##### about my ability to provide!

Congrats...on the deer and the engagement. Give us some specs on the load you are using, it sounds like a good one.

Winchester 25-06 brass-- Fed 210 primers- 55.5gr RE22

125 gr Nosler partition-3220 f/s
When I am on I have shot some decent groups

yes, this loading is unbelievable flatshooting, and with the medium contoured barrel it has very mild recoil. I have not recovered a bullet yet, but have reovered all of the game so I assume the bullet performance is adequate

A dandy rifle and load. The 125 grain 6.5 partition is a great bullet!

Congratulations on the hunting and engagement.
