I just got the grips, and 10 round mags today. Took off the nice checkered wood ones. This Hogue grip feels way nicer because there is no front strap grip on the frame.

There you go. Thanks for looking!

You think they would print?

Nahhhh!

I would probably take the two round hit, and go with flush fitting mags if I could CCW.

Is this one of the latest batch? Nice looking gun. How's the fit/finish? How's the trigger out of the box?

I guess I'm old fashioned. I prefer the older vertical cocking serrations and I hate rubber Hogue type fingerslot grips. 10 round mags are convenient for the range and competition. Not so good for carry but that's moot at the moment.

I believe this is one of the newer ones. It is Armco tuned, and has a stainless bushing.
The slide is quite shiny, and the fit is not bad at all. A little side clearance on the slide that will be addressed at Dlask's after I dehorn it, and add a magwell.

The one thing I don't care for is the sights. Especially the front. Considering getting better ones.

Personally, I like the wider square cut grooves over the smaller triangular traditional ones. Much better purchase, especially with gloves.
I too much prefer the look of nicely checkered fine wood grips, but this gun has no front strap grip to it. The rubber ones are a preference of function over form.

Dlask has some great single stack mags for around $35 each I think.

It looks like I am going to have to post pics with flush mags eh?

;o)
