Have you checked with Elwood Epps? Last time I was there they had high 11mm rings on hand.
I've had a few Vortex scopes and never had any real issues, I currently have a Strike Eagle on my .22 and and a PST gen 2 on my .223, both have been excellent. EBR-7C is great and they both have 10MIL/rotation turrets...
At every rimfire match I have ever been to Vortex or Athlon have been the 2x scopes that dominate the 'production class' (sub $700msrp)

I have an Athlon Midas Tac on my 457. With 30MOA rail I can dial to 450yrd and still have 10mil in the reticle.
Scope has nice turrets and zero stop and paralax is good down to 10yrds. The Floating Dot in the APRS2 reticle I am not sold on. Takes some getting used to and even then is easy to loose on dark colored targets.

Running a Strike Eagle 5-25X56 on my 457 and so far, so good! Super happy with it so far, my main complaint is the reticle has .5 MIL holdover marks. I'd prefer something a bit finer, but I think I've been ruined by my H59 in my XRS II lol!
I've gone "as high" as a Viper HS in the Vortex line, which I thought was great until I looked through a Sightron SIII. (and a few others) Had 2 Crossfires=no thanks. A Diamondback that was OK.
Unless I missed it, I'd be looking at the SIII line from Sightron. I have one on my 204R that (to my eye) is far more clear than even a Leupold VX-3. Had both at one time, easy to let the VX-3 go. I think the SIIIs are great scopes.
Recently picked-up a STAC 3-16x42 MOA-3 for my 17H, haven't mounted it...rings I had won't get the height where I want it. Reticle is similar to the MOA-2 on my SIII, but appears even finer if that's possible. lol Haven't used outside/zeroed/hunted etc. Like what I see so far though.

I have the STAC 3-16x42 on my 17HMR and it is great, for the most part, I will echo GimpyGolden that the floating dot reticle can be lost on dark coloured targets.
I just looked it up, I wish it came in a different reticle... and I couldn't find how many MIL/turret spin.I shoot 1” dots from barricade positions at 100 with my scope on 12X. My 12-18 rnd groups are usually under 3”, and often 80% under 2” once you strike the high and low hits that come from bad ES cheap ammo. I find higher magnification frustrating because I can see the bullets taking off in directions I didn’t send them.
Vortex AMG 6-24 would be nice on that rifle. I’m a vortex fan boy, but struggle with all the different levels of low end stuff they’re putting out these days. It all seems so watered down now and I can’t even begin to recommend any of them. Even the vipers aren’t as nice or as classy as they used to be.
The AMG is nice and light with a ton of elevation. I’ve owned a few over the years and am always impressed. Razor is too heavy for a .22. The only other vortex stuff I recommend are the red dots and spotters. Binos are decent as well.
