YHM firearms

I did not have much luck with the search function on this topic, wondering if you guys could help me out

Does YHM make quality products? I know they are American made - but have not had much luck finding first hand knowledge?

can you purchase them here in Canada?

Fabsports (sponsor) sells some of their stuff.

As far as quality, they're good value, but you can get better absolute quality if you want to pay more. I'm talking dimensional control (just okay), rust resistance (not so good on the steel bits - so use lots of CLP) and weight (heavy). I've used a lot of YHM and other brands.

I've been happy with my YHM parts. Sure Troy or DD may have better rails and sights but I can buy YHM for 1/3 the price and for range use they're great.

I have 2 YHM forearms, a pair of YHM sling mounts, and a YHM flash suppressor. I am very happy with all of them.

I have 2 complete upper with barrel, upper, handguard all by YHM and I have been happy so far. The fit and finish on the newer stuff is good and so far as stood up well.
