Every time I think I've made up my mind on a scope I find a new bit of information!

For the record, I'm trying to decide between a Burris FFII, a Nikon Omega, Redfield Revolution and a vortex diamond back.

I'm looking for Clarity above magnification and I need something that holds zero real good. Its for a backpack/truck rifle.

Some days I think I should just stick with irons :confused:
 
I have no experience with the Nikon, Redfield, or Vortex scopes, but I do have a couple of Burris FFII's. They are reasonable scopes, and have proved durable so far. Edge to edge clarity is not the greatest, but otherwise I have no complaints with them.
 
I have a Burris Fullfield 11 in 4.5x14x42 and I am finding it to be an excellent scope for the money. My only complaint with this scope would be the stiff to operate power selector ring but I think this will loosen up with a little use. I think this has to do with the proprietary quad seal that they use. Anyway, I recommend using them and would buy again.
 
Went burris just because :D

Looked through a redfield and Nikon-found all the glass similar but I liked the reticle on the burris best.
Looking good so far, although the crosshairs do look a little thick.
Will get a report once I've tried it out :ar15:
 
Solid choice, personally I just picked up a FFII for about 230 bucks in 1.75-5x 20mm for my AR, it was on sale at my local gun shop and would also work great as a closer range hunting optic. It is very clear and I am impressed for the price I paid.
