This is a pretty awesome site. Glad to have found it! Have been reading so many posts already. I am new to firearms & safety ofcourse! So before starting i had a billion ?'s thanks to this site i only have about a million more to go LOL!! The more you learn, the more you realize there is still more to learn!!
Hopefully in the next couple months i will be able to make my first rifle purchase. Going rimfire. Seems to be the cheapest & easiest to start of with....

Will be going for my non restricted soon...
Definately thinking of getting into some small game hunting with my .22 :)
Wanna try some wild meat LOL!!! Maybe in a year or 2 i'll move up to big game!!
Though I am a city boy @ heart!!! i'm sure nothing is better than red lobster & some nice red wine!! LOL!! I'm sure i'll get flamed for this!!

I'm more intrested right now in learning to shoot & prolly just get my small game licence so i don't get busted shooting out in the bush :) From reading on this site, seems to be a big deal to officers & seems to be the easiest way to avoid any problems....

Thats just a little about myself...
Hopefully i'll hook up with some CGN folks when i got my rifle & we can go do some friendly competition shooting....

If you have a vehicle and do not mind a drive I would like to invite you out to the EESA Open House weekend.

June 21-22.

As a newbie you will be amazed with the amount and variety of firearms that you will be able to try out at the event.

From Toronto it will be under 2 hours to get there.

Welcome aboard. You'll find that this is a great place to learn and find some good deals too. I'm a newbie myself from downtown Toronto. What area are you from? What drew you to the ancient art of shooting? lol

Jamie has been to several EESA Open Houses. His toys are.....umm Were always a hit.

He also ran the fireworks show at our picnic/Pig Roast on the August weekend.....He is a licensed Fireworks Technician.

I guess that will not be happening for the forseeable future.
 
I'm from the Lawrence & Yonge area.
c'mon, I have only seen about million cowboy movies! LOL!
Like alot of folks i suppose, just like spending alot of time outdoors. Just gives me another reason too be outside...

& + who isn't fascinated by guns? :)

If you like cowboy movies you have to get into SASS Cowboy Action Shooting. You can live out your favourite cowboy movie fantasy.
