what spring and spacer did you finally decide on.

Well I was watching my handier than I friend work on my gun, I do know he used the 2nd lightest spring and I think the largest shim, trigger breaks right around 2lbs and crisp. A thing beauty you might say. The rifle is my 22 Varmint. FS

It depends totally on the individual rifle. I have used any of the three thinner shims, and either of the two heavier springs.

like stubblejumper said,also individual preference.its not difficult at all to install and remove shims and springs to suit your needs.try and get it where you like it before you put the barreled action back into the stock.
