How many yotes do you or your group harvest a season? I know as hunters numbers are not important, it is the getting out for friendship and to enjoy mother nature and freezing your butt? Our group pushing yotes by foot with 2 to 7 hunters harvesting 40 yotes our best year and averaging 30-33 a year in SW Ontario? How much did you spend, for dogs, feed, vet bills, collars, dog boxes, callers, radios, etc to get started?
We only hunt when we have snow on the ground and average $20-$30 a day per vehicle for gas and about $300 for a two way radio system? I may of missed a lot of expenses? Compare your method and cost to harvest totals?
Total yotes harvested per season, best and average?
Method used?
Province hunted?
Cost, not including guns or ammo?

I got 2 over the summer with my homemade caller, (maybe went out 1/2 dozen times) but have been out a more than a dozen times this winter and have not seen any...This is my first year coyote hunting, thought is was earier in the winter?

Cost---$325 stevens 223....bushnell elite 3200 4x12 used $275 and roughly $100 for a homemade caller....oh then I decided to get into reloading....$300? oh well its fun being out in the woods looking for those critters....can't put a price on that.....just wish I saw more action...

Our group has got 6 so far. Were in the process of buying more/better dogs, tracking collars and making kennels etc.We currently have 3 black/tan hounds which all need to be replaced because of age and because 2 are basically watch dogs. Were looking at a group of about 15 guys/gals and each person puts in $200.00/year to cover all of the costs.

We don't run dogs ether but are looking for a good one that is started. I hunt with all retirees and I am in my early 30's so I do A LOT of the dogging. We have anywhere from 3 to 7 guys and on a good year we would end up with 30 yotes and fox, we are not doing as well this year. As for cost it is basically gas for the trucks and beer and whiskey for after the hunt:dancingbanana::dancingbanana:
