Yotes went for fawn

I live south west of Brandon and our Deer numbers are good, but we also have a wack of coyotes. I always get a trappers licence so when I see a coyote he gets it. I have seen coyotes take down full sized Deer when the snow gets deep.

SHHHHHH....don't say that

to loud........

Reason being is that you will get every Tom, ####, and Harry coming out from Winnipeg.

Yes guys I have my hate on for the city folk come hunting. It's not bad if one or 2 come but they bring the whole F++++++++'n bus. I just got off the phone with my buddy and he hears there are a whack of city guys heading into the area we hunt. There have been progressively more and more year after year. The local hunters are really starting to get pissed having to chase these clowns off of there land. I have hunted there for 15 years and it gets worse every year.

I guess the last 2 days of muzzle season I will be very busy trying to save the few deer there are in the hunting grounds.

Am I PO'd, you bet..............

I spend the first week or so of the season in the Carberry/ Shilo/SprucewoodsPark area with the occasional trip north of Austin. Deer numbers are high but mature bucks are down(we had a poacher problem). I finish the season with a group hunting the Rivers/ Rapid City area and again numbers are good.

We started last weekend on out yodel dog hunts that will continue till end of season at end of February. Saw 8 dogs. One came home with us and the others were a foot high and 10 feet long the last we saw of them.:D
