AND I LOVE YOU ALL FOR BRINGING ME TO THE DARK SIDE! I just finished fitting some Magpul goodies to my DPMS. I must say I like the feel of the MOE handguard more than the original DPMS.

I'll get some photos up as soon as the missus teaches me how to use her camera. This thing is worth better than cellphone quality photos!

Welcome to the Dark side.

Does that mean you're really going to be upset with us when you buy your second and third AR's?

Inevitable it is, fulfill your destiny you must.

Grizz....running a camera is easier then working on a rifle!!! Got any goodies I could put on my CQA??

Unless you want some factory DPMS parts to put on. The nice thing about the Magpul is it's cheep cheep, and can be had in different colours. I went black on black.

Congrats. The dark side has more fun... lol
We're gonna need to see some pics as evidence.

Batteries for the camera are charging!

Grab a drink and a chair... you're going to be here a while.

Done and done.

Does that mean you're really going to be upset with us when you buy your second and third AR's?
Inevitable it is, fulfill your destiny you must.

I will completely lose my #### if I buy more ARs. But every good Canadian should have at least one.

Welcome......

Thanks! :)

Here she is boys... Goodies are:
Magpul: MOE carbine foreend, polymer rail section, RSA, ASAP, and MS3 sling
Ergo grip
Choate buttstock w/ buffer tube (had to swap tubes off my M14 stock to fit this one. Choate uses a thicker "lug" at the bottom because their tube is used for rifle and shotgun stocks)
NcStar BUIS
Millett DMS-1 1-4x24, with mount and riser.
And just for ####s & giggles, I tossed my Drift HD170 Stealth with 1913 rail mount on.

Hmmmmmmnn....that IS a great little rig, Grizz. How's the fit? Pictures are sometimes deceiving and that scope looks like it sits a little high...?

The AR is a gun fit for saints. The real bad guys over here on the Dark Side are shooting Tavors. Rumour has it that our own TV Press Person was a nice guy before he gave his soul to IWI.

I'd personally prefer to run without the riser, but I had some nasty clearance issues with the BUIS. Now I could pull the BUIS and riser off, save myself probably a pound or so on the scale, but it seems to run just fine as it is. The nice thing is, I can pop the scope off with one nut being backed off, or I can pop the riser off with the cope attached so I can get at my irons. All in all the extra half inch doesn't make much difference to me right now. Eventually, I'll upgrade the irons and scope mount, but it runs fairly well for me like this. Next upgrade will probably be a different charging handle. I'd like something bigger, but then I run the risk of snagging up on stuff. And I already snag up on enough stuff as it is with my size. :p

Another pic, with the MS3 set up in single point mode :)
