You call THAT a reload...THIS is a reload.

Yup confirmed.....

i think i f**ked up my shoulder too.

Beretta 92FS, also no dice. Maybe a 1/4 inch.

I am sure glad nobody saw me tryin this. I musta looked like a tool. :ninja:

LOL... My son caught me trying it... he said "what the hell are you doing?!? Trying to jerk off your Glock?!?

I'm not sure of the Glock model but it's the one with the longer barrel, so there is more mass to the slide than a G17. If I still had a semi I would love to try this.

the g34 slide weighs exactly the same as the g17 slide, hence why there is a "lightning" cut out on top of the g34 slide, and why both the g17 and g34 both (also g22.G35) both use the same recoil spring

I will give the longer slide points for moving the weight of the gun more forward which may contribute to the slide moving more easliy because the mass of the slide could be "snapped" a little more.

Hell, never mind the Ninja Slide trick. I'm just impressed that he stabbed the gun down onto the magazine without messing that up. If I tried that I'd for sure catch a corner and send the magazine skittering a good 20 feet away and have to scuttle after it in my best Groucho Marx immitation to get it back and into the pistol and carry on.

*BCRider scuttles off to get his snap caps and try this shiznit out for hisself.... :D*

I managed to do it on an airsoft version of the 92fs but I had to pull that hammer back first lol.

Well I tried this with both my Shadow and 1911 and there's not a hope in hell that it will work short of tearing my shoulder from its socket or ramming my elbow into a big hard fixed object to generate the required accelleration. The best I managed was to get my Shadow to rack back far enough to go into the half #### notch.

Frankly martial arts or not at least with hammer fired pistols I'm calling this one "Myth Busted".....

Maybe this is easier with striker fired guns vs hammer guns? I've got access to a couple of Glocks. I gotta try this when I'm over there again.

No access to a Glock shouldn't be a problem... just go to your club and ask to rent one. Then, place a loaded Glock mag on the counter (right in front of everyone, including the employees working there) and say out loud:

"Watch this everyone! I saw this guy do something cool with a gun on YouTube and will attempt to reproduce his amazing ninja-like move... please keep in mind that I am not yet a professional at this, so should the gun accidentally go off, please hit the deck as fast as you can. Thank you."

(Besides, old beat up range Glocks would probably rack easier too!)

:D
