You Don't Own A Type 81 - You Can't Speak For Us

Btw, many AK variants are fully capable of having a side folding stock vs under folding. Additionally, there is a plethora of drop-in triggers for the AK.... Problem solved?

Also, the AK variant I posted indeed has a bolt hold open..... Also has night sights, can't remember.... Does your t81 have little flip up night sights?

#1, did they change the evil GL diameter on your t81 to make it legal to import?

#2, where are the GL sights?

#3, can you attach a bayo?

Seriously..... Just curious.

#1 No

#2 On the grenade in conjunction with the bar on the rifles rear sight.

#3 Yes with very simple mod. grind a nub from the bayo or mill a slot in the GL sleeve.

Very nice AK you got by the way. Some of us here in Canukistan have shot AK'S, owned AK's and still own AK's. Although it's unlikely many can legally shoot them anywhere anymore! Some firearms businesses are able to shoot prohib's on their private ranges and sometimes a very lucky few can get invited to shoot.

Gun Jesus (Ian at forgotten weapons) was just up shooting full auto's at a former CGN business members range. So ya it is still possible (albeit rare) for some to be able to at least shoot AK's here in Canada.-

.

Thats interesting.... Anyone have a pic of the 'bar' on the rear sights? I would imagine something needs to flip up and be rather tall to accommodate the angle...

We only think it's used for that because someone here who supposedly used the gun in China says so. The manual is silent on it, but the grenades themselves have a ladder sight used in conjunction with the rifle somehow.

But nobody seems to know definitively.

While those are nice, comparing a raced out AK with a stock version of another rifle isn't a fair comparison.

The AK is a great rifle, nobody is doubting that, but an as-issued t81 is more feature rich than an as issue type 56.

The yugo, Israeli, Finnish and recent production ak12's are not typical of the common AK, they have been improved and have their own plus/minuses.
