You folks have been hosed again!

You are indeed correct, in a perfect world there should be only one hole in the target at 5 yards...

I believe that in decades past, say my 20's, 30's, 40's,maybe even my 50's I could have provided that for you..

But now that I'm in my mid 60's I find that as accurate a shooter as I WAS, I'm NOT.

Keeping a correct sight picture in years past seemed a simple thing. Keeping the rear sight, front sight, and target all aligned properly isn't simple any longer.

I try and not complain because my vision sucks, my hand shakes, and many things that I took for granted when I was younger are no longer available to me. My best friend of over 50 years is blind (Retinitious Pigmentosa) and my just being able to SEE a target at 5' is a good deal in comparison to my friends dark world..

I practice at short distance because that's what I can see, and that's probably the distance I would have to shoot in a confrontation. I cannot put all rounds in one hole, at ANY distance, but I do think 10+1 Cor-Bons "scattered" about such as my target represents could be sufficient.

I think the average person confronted by a life threatening confrontation would have condiserable difficulty in putting all 11 rds. in one neat little hole when you factor in such variables as "adrenlin rush/rapid heartbeat/fight or flight instinct/etc. Or, a scared person doesn't generally have the same ability at accuracy under lethal threat as he/she might have at the practice range.

I don't mind the criticism, I just do the best I can. I wasn't "showing off" MY accuracy, I was trying to impart an idea of the potential accuracy of the pistol itself.

Or, the P99c/AC shot relatively poa right out of the box. No malfunctions, no problems, just a pleasure to shoot. I understand that you Canadian folks cannot have "compacts/snubby's" and such, but in any community of firearm enthusiasts most folks enjoy seeing different firearms, even tho they might be restricted to you.

In fact the very reason that they might be restricted to you is often reason enough for some folks to enjoy seeing or hearing about different firearms. You can have no personal experience with the firearm, so you gain knowledge about it from someone who has.

Not trying to be confrontational, just trying to explain I fully understand why a person SHOULD be able to put all rounds in one hole at 5' but I can't.

Best Wishes,

J. Pomeroy

Fair enough, enjoy your toy.
