you guys are all writing letters and helping the cause right??

This letter sent to NFA and CSSA

Gentlemen

I have posted a request on CGN that everyone demand that our alphabet orgs get on the same page so that we can get rid of C-68 and it's precursors.

That page looks like this:

There are only two legit classifications

- Firearm

- Not a Firearm

No subjective criteria may be applied to the use, carriage, and possession of firearms.

It is immoral to restrict the law-abiding, in a vain attempt to affect the actions of the lawless.

Remember, "If just one woman in that classroom had been properly trained, and carrying a handgun, Lepine would have been stopped within 2 seconds of entering the room." From a letter written by my daughter, and published in the Edmonton Journal, after the killings at Polytech.

Let's get together, we'll be all right...

I am behind this cause 100%. 15 letters already sent and more to go. Joining the NFA and CSSA next Thursday (home emergency drained my slush find) and I will start calling the CFO's office and my MP on Monday.

We have a real chance to make a difference and I agree with what you're saying CLT .45.

I think being vocal about it is a good thing.

Shows that there are people doing there part and shames the others that are still sitting on their a$$es "waiting" for a good time do do it. ;)

...don't wait till your firearm is re-classified ...might be too late then ...join the fight now.

I've always believed that the members that participate in the shotgun forums carry abit more common sense and <ahem> intelligence than those that frequent other areas of this forum. The quality of the posts speak for themselves, so a very big well done to everyone on the shotgun forums!.

For myself, I am staying focused with calls, emails, more calls and emails, hitting every poll that comes up, signing every petition that comes up, etc.

I am trying to stay away from those that are beginning to lose interest/thinking we have lost.

I think I can do more good this way than talking about it, but know I am fighting for myself and my brothers and sisters in arms by doing my part.

I will leave you with this quote and my feelings on this matter:

The man who follows the crowd will usually get no further than the crowd.

The man who walks alone is likely to find himself in places no one has ever been before.

-Francis Phillip Wernig

We are at the doorstep of "being in a place that none of us have been before" and I would very much like to walk on that side of the grass.

I'm no a legal surgeon but does a proposed "Amnesty period" put our non-restricted firearms that have not been "registered" (and therefore will not be allowed to be registered during this said period) at risk of being banned also?
Just thinking out loud.....

All firearm owners regardless of what type of firearms they own should petition their MP, the PMO's office and the Minister of Public Safety. If we as a community of firearms owners do not stand together and stand up for one and other, we will gradually see the erosion of the privileges that all of us enjoy by owning and using firearms. If you don't stand with your neighbour, there will be no-one left to notice when they come for you. The RCMP have carte blanche authority to change the FRT this includes the ability to determine how many rounds your shotgun can hold.

Been doing more than writing letters.

Anyone who wants a pdf of this, let me know. I have blanks and Blaney as well. Print, fold/wrap/glue over card (like real estate junk mail post cards), trim and mail. Yes, I know. I have updated the pdf to include C-17...

I would love to imagine MPs coming back from break and not being able to open their doors for all the mail sitting behind them...

Also preparing a little something for when the Coalition pulls back their cloak.

Please send me links in pm please.

Just sent out 27 letters to my own and surrounding MP's it is easier than you think once you have a generic letter and you use MS work to print envelopes, use copy and paste from a readily available address list.

Come on people we got to do it now!!
