I don't think this will stand, and could be one persons actions/mistake in the dept, could be hearsay (though I heard it from reliable sources). I don't know, our license has not been rejected yet.

Let's keep our powder dry and see where this goes.
 
Well the US gov is trying to disarm its own citizens right now so why wouldn't they not want their companies to sell to foreigners. All we can do is petition the DOS. If they see how much money (The drug of Politics choice) it can make them, then they will let it through.

Then it's up to them to take it up with their gov. officials and make a stink. Trouble is they have such a large domestic market we don't matter much to them (well a lot of them I suspect). We shouldn't be so reliant on the US for our sport, and this isn't directed at you, but we should start hedging our bets and building relationships with other countries that can supply our needs. Shouldn't put all our eggs in one basket if we can help it.

Or we should be making it here at home to supply our needs, and the rest of the world too. If the US can't export, that just gives us more oportunities to work with. The cost of machine tools has come down a lot over the years. There must be some room to compete around the world AND feed our needs as well.

They're making a big mistake in doing this with .308 - if this is true. Next thing you know,they'll try to pull this sh!t with .223 ammo. I agree with blckgnznstuff on manufacturing it on the homefront. It's a market just waiting to be tapped. Just think - more jobs for Canadians - the cost of ammo could possibly be cheaper to produce than to import, therefore making it cheaper for the consumer. Why depend heavily on a source that's only going to screw us in the end?
 
How much red-tape is there for manufacturing munitions in Canada? What about exporting from Canada?

Although this really deserves its own thread.
 
If under 2 G's, with 18.5 or longer barrel. proven reliable and shoots 1 MOA or under im so in.

Pretty ###y looking gun if you ask me.

If there is a FTF in the RFB will it eject a full round? I would hope so.
 
If we get them, I want the one with the longer barrel, non-restricted, and adjustable trigger. The problem is they won't be making them for several months. Although, on one of the forums Kel-Tec said that you can swap out the trigger set and the barrel. If the first ones come in restricted how difficult is it to get it re-certified to non-restricted with the longer barrel? Has anyone installed a longer barrel on something else and had it re-certified?
